DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
2. Drain and rinse Reese Water Chestnuts. Soak in soy sauce for 15 minutes, tossing occasionally to ensure all chestnuts are fully coated
3. Remove water chestnuts and reserve the soy sauce
4. Wrap the bacon strip around each water chestnut, securing with a toothpick
5. Place chestnuts with toothpicks upright, in a baking dish
6. Bake for 25-35 minutes
7. Remove chestnuts, drain grease and replace chestnuts into the dish
8. Combine the reserved soy sauce, ketchup and brown sugar and combine well
9. Pour sauce evenly over the chestnuts
10. Bake chestnuts an additional 20 to 30 minutes, keeping an eye on the bacon. (Bake time varies depending on your desired crispiness)
