  • 1 head of romaine lettuce
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp anchovy paste
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 3 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
  • 3-4 oz olive oil
  • Croutons
  • Parmesan cheese
  • 1 piece of Focaccia bread, sliced in half
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 6-8 slices Gayo Azul Gouda cheese
  • 1-2 cups pepperoni slices
  • Reese Spicy Caramelized Onions, add to taste

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 
  2. Slice Focaccia bread in half lengthwise. Top with marinara, Gayo Azul Gouda slices, pepperoni, and Reese Spicy Caramelized Onions.
  3. On a baking sheet, heat the sandwich until the cheese bubbles and the pepperoni is crisp on the edges. 
  4. While the sandwich is cooling slightly, assemble your salad.
  5. To make caesar dressing, whisk together garlic, salt, anchovy paste, egg yolk, mustard, lemon juice, and worcestershire sauce.
  6. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking to emulsify the dressing.
  7. Stir in the parmesan cheese.
  8. Chop the romaine lettuce, add the croutons and dressing. Toss to combine.
  9. Top your warm but not hot sandwich with the crisp caesar salad.
