DESCRIPTION

Celebrations aren’t complete without a starry dessert. As Reese’s 75th anniversary proceeds, we’re adding a Star Shaped Cherry Jello to our throwback tablescape! This recipe is full of flavor, especially with our Reese Maraschino Cherries!

DIRECTIONS
1. Coat a star-shaped mold (or standard bundt pan) with cooking spray and wipe with a paper towel to ensure there are no puddles of spray and that the pan is well coated (get into the corners!).
2. Add all 3 packages of JELL-O to a large bowl. Add boiling water to the bowl and whisk 2-3 minutes until completely dissolved.
3. In a 4 Cup Liquid Measuring Cup, add the lemon-lime soda and ice until it reads 2 + 2/3 C.
4. Stir the cold soda and ice into the JELL-O until the ice is melted.
5. Pour the Jell-O mixture into the star-shaped mold. Skim off any foam that may have occurred from the bubbles.
6. Cover the mold with plastic wrap and place on a flat surface in the fridge for 45 minutes – 1 hour. Dip your finger into the mixture. If it comes out coated, it’s ready to add the fruit!
7. Gently poke the maraschino cherries down into the JELL-O mold, spreading the cherries out throughout the mixture and suspending them at different levels (high and low).
8. Place the mold back in the fridge for at least 3 hours (overnight if possible).
9. When ready to unmold and serve, carefully invert the mold onto a serving plate and let the JELL-O release from the mold onto the plate (this may take 2-3 minutes). If the JELL-O does not release from the pan, fill the sink or wide bowl with warm water and dip the outside of the mold into the water for 10 seconds. Remove, dry the outside of the mold off, and invert onto the plate again.
10. Serve and enjoy!
