Crab & Artichoke Bread Bowl Dip

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 Kings’ Hawaiian® Round Hawaiian Sweet Bread
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/3 cup red bell pepper, finely diced
  • 1/3 cup green onion, finely chopped
  • 7.5 oz Reese® Artichoke Hearts, drained & roughly chopped
  • 6 oz Reese® Crab Meat, drained
  • 1/4 cup Lemon Juice

DESCRIPTION
The perfect appetizer is a dish that’s both fun and something you can’t resist making or eating: this Crab & Artichoke Bread Bowl Dip is all that and more! DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and slice off the top of the Kings’ Hawaiian® Round Hawaiian Sweet Bread. Hollow out the bread bowl, leaving about a 1-inch wall on all sides, to create the bowl. Cut the top of the bread into cubes.
  2. Place the bread bowl back into its round tin and place the bread cubes onto a large baking sheet. Toast in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
  3. Add the cream cheese, mayonnaise, salt, black pepper, garlic powder and grated parmesan cheese to a small pot and heat on medium heat stirring frequently until well combined and melted. Next, add the diced bell pepper, chopped green onion, drained and roughly chopped Reese® Artichoke Hearts, drained Reese® Crab Meat, and lemon juice. Mix and allow to heat through, about 5 minutes.
  4. Spoon the warm crab and artichoke dip mixture into the toasted bread bowl and serve with the toasted bread cubes. Garnish with more thinly sliced green onion and a light sprinkle of parmesan cheese.
