INGREDIENTS
  • 2 Cans Reese Select Hearts of Palm
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 Tbsp Milk
  • ¼ Cup Flour
  • 1 Cup Seasoned Panko Breadcrumbs
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Spray Oil
  • Tzatziki or Tartar Sauce, for dipping
  • Fresh Dill, for garnish

DESCRIPTION

 Have you tried crispy hearts of palm yet? Reese Hearts of Palm Snack Platter is the quick and easy, crispy and tender vessel perfect for all your dipping needs. A sensational appetizer, ready in no time!


DIRECTIONS
1. Slice the Reese Select Hearts of Palm in half lengthwise. Then, on a large cutting board, use the bottom of a cup to gently smash the hearts of palm halves until they are about ¼” thick.
2. Set up a breading station. In one shallow dish, whisk together the egg and milk. In another shallow dish, whisk together the flour, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper.
3. Dip the smashed hearts of palm in the flour mixture, then the egg mixture, then back into the flour mixture. Press the flour mixture in to help it stick. Place the breaded hearts of palm on a parchment or foil lined sheet to be transferred to the air fryer or oven.
4. Air fry or bake for 16 minutes at 400 degrees F, flipping halfway through. Remove when golden brown and crunchy and set out on a wire rack to cool slightly.
5. Serve with tzatziki or tartar sauce for dipping, garnished with chopped fresh dill. Enjoy!
