  • 2 hass avocados (ripe, pitted, peeled, and chopped)
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp Mexican oregano (dried)
  • 1/2 tsp coarse sea salt
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 package savory (baked tofu, 8-ounce cut into 1/4-inch dice, optional)
  • 8 corn tortillas (5-inch)
  • corn oil (for frying)
  • chile flakes (chipotle, optional, for garnishing)
