Sriracha-Ginger Lettuce Wrap

  • ​1 head butter lettuce
  • 1 lb. ground chicken
  • 1 8 oz. can Reese Whole Water Chestnuts, drained and diced
  • 1 tbsp. DaVinci Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • ¼ cup hoisin sauce (or BBQ sauce)
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tsp. sriracha, or more, to taste
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Delicious dinner in 15 minutes! Fresh butter lettuce topped with ground chicken flavored with classic Chinese flavors such as hoisin sauce and ginger. Add some crunchy water chestnuts and top with sriracha! 

1. In a saucepan, heat olive oil on medium-high heat.
2. Add chicken to pan and stir frequently. Cook for 3–5 minutes or until browned. Drain.
3. Add garlic, onion, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, ginger, and sriracha. Cook 2–3 minutes or until onions are translucent.
4. Mix in water chestnuts and green onions. Cook 1–2 minutes or until tender.
5. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
6. In the center of a lettuce leaf, spoon several tbsp. of mixture.
7. Serve.
