Wings with Salsa Verde

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 lb Chicken Wings, fresh not frozen 
  • 2 TBSP Baking Powder 
  • 2 tsp Fresh Cracked Black Pepper

For the Caper Chimichurri Sauce 
  • 1/2 C DaVinci Olive Oil 
  • 1 Clove Garlic 
  • Pinch Red Pepper Flakes 
  • Juice of 1 Lemon 
  • 1/2 C Parsley 
  • 1/2 C Cilantro 
  • 2 TBSP Reese Non Pareil Capers 
  • Salt and Pepper to Tast

DESCRIPTION

Our Salsa Verde made with Reese Capers is a light and bright sauce, great with grilled or baked proteins, veggies, you name it! It’s the perfect sauce to dip and coat our crispy chicken wings in. 


DIRECTIONS
For the Wings:

1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment.
2. Put the wings into a gallon sized ziplock bag with the baking powder and pepper. Shake to coat.
3. Place the wings on the prepared baking sheet into an even layer. Bake at 300 for 35 minutes, then raise the temperature to 425 and bake for an additional 40-45 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.

For the Caper Salsa Verde:

4. Add all of the ingredients to a food processor or high powered blender and pulse until you reach your desired consistency.
