Ham Glaze Holiday Spiral Ham

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 precooked spiral ham (7–10 lb)
  • 1 jar Reese Ham Glaze

DESCRIPTION
Imagine a beautifully glazed, sweet-and-salty spiral ham that practically sings on the holiday table.

DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F and position the rack in the middle.

  2. Prepare the ham:
    • Remove any packaging and the plastic button/disc from the bottom.
    • Place ham flat-side down in a large baking dish or roasting pan.
    • Insert an oven-safe thermometer into the center of the ham (avoid touching the bone).

  3. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 12–15 minutes per pound, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (about 90 minutes).

  4. When the ham reaches 140°F, remove from the oven and increase oven temperature to 425°F.

  5. Uncover the ham, then generously brush the Reese Ham Glaze all over it, making sure to coat between the spiral layers for maximum flavor.

  6. Return to the oven (uncovered) for 10–15 minutes, or until the glaze becomes sticky, glossy, and irresistible.
