DIRECTIONS
1. Lightly coat pork with vegetable oil, then rub seasonings all over the pork.
2. Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil over high heat in a large cast iron skillet then sear pork on all sides until lightly browned.
3. Place pork in a slow cooker and add water, light brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and apple cider vinegar.
4. Cover and cook on high for 4-6 hours or until the pork is very tender. Allow pork to rest inside the slow cooker for at least 15 minutes before removing.
5. Using two forks, shred the meat on a cutting board then return back to the slow cooker and cook for 20 minutes on low to soak up the juices.
6. Strain most of the broth from the pork and stir in the BBQ sauce and Reese Ham Glaze.
7. Heat through the Reese Original Caramelized Onions in a small saucepan then set aside.
8. Lightly toast the King’s Hawaiian Original Sweet Rolls at 350°F for 5-8 minutes then slice in half.
9. To build the sandwiches, add some of the finely shredded cabbage and carrots to the bottom bun then top with the pulled pork, warmed Reese Original Caramelized Onions, top with a bit more Reese Ham Glaze, and garnish with cilantro.
